Professor Rubin (aka Professor Bobby) is a really relaxed teacher. He grades papers fairly and explains thoroughly what he wants from assignments. Attendance is a part of your grade, so just make sure you show up. Other than attendance you should have no worries with this professor.

Professor Bobby is one of my favorite professors! I had him for Literature and Rock and Roll. We read a few books and some excerpts from books, then listened to rock songs inspired by the books. So much fun and such an easy class to take.

Honestly, an easy A if you put in a little effort. Just a lot of (generally easy) readings early in the semester (with easy reading quizzes in class), a couple 3-4 page papers, and a final project. Very chill guy, really doesn't demand much of your time, and is a pretty easy grader. Would definitely recommend.

Latin America: Magical Realsim. It was a very cool class I'm not going to lie. At first I was sketched out by the daily quizzes over the readings, but the readings were actually entertaining. Also the quizzes were True and False, so they weren't bad. Typical honor standards, but I recommend this class and Professor Bobby because he's a good guy.

Lots of work but a very interesting class. He is hilarious and helpful I was skeptical because I had to buy 6 novels for this class, but I love it. It's a lot of work, but I love learning about the different cultures and their literature styles

he's nice enough and definitely encourages his class to participate. He had a quiz in every class to ensure we kept up with all reading assignments. His tests are not hard and are take home essay format but he seems very scattered, he never had much of a plan for class and most of the time was spent chatting with partners waiting for relevant work.

Class starts off with a lot of reading but it is manageable. His quizzes are really easy and he uses Facebook for in-class credit. By far the easiest class I have taken at Wright State.

We met for class but met outside of class on Facebook. Work was to be turned in by certain dates on the Facebook page. There's a lot of reading but it's manageable, a paper due at the end of the semester and a supper easy group project. Take whatever class you can with this guy. It is an easy A if you do the work.

Professor Bobby is one of the BEST professors I've had at WSU! All of the positive reviews on this website were true. Bobby is such a nice man, genuinely interested in his students and their success. I believe he could make any class he teaches interesting! Very fair, funny, likable man. Take a class with him if you can, you won't regret it!

The class I took was Latin America: The Magic and The Real. You would think this would be a weird class, but Professor Bobby made it fun and interesting, especially with his extensive knowledge of Latin America. There was some reading and always a daily quiz, but, as long as you read, the course was easy and extra credit was offered. Great prof!

Awesome professor! Makes class super entertaining! Class is mandatory in order to receive credit for daily quizzes. Textbooks are used a lot! Several movies are shown. AS long as you keep up on reading an A is guaranteed! Really funny and nice guy! Highly recommended!

Professor Rubin was a good teacher and a fair grader. This class (International Film and Literature) involved reading stories and watching movies made in other countries. Using Facebook to turn in assignments made it interesting because everyone has different thoughts on each story. I feel like I got more out of each story this way.

I love English, so it was no surprise that I would enjoy this class. Professor Bobby made English so much fun. His class met once a week (Tuesday) and we had to post something in the Facebook group he created (Thursday). We had to write three journals, two two film analyses, wrote two papers, and made a portfolio. Easiest class I've taken thus far.

Prof. Rubin (Bobby) is the best! I took his Honors class on the "American Dream" that met once a week. The class is a pretty easy A or B. Here's what we had to do: read 3 books and respond to them (~700-1000 words each), write a 7-10 page argumentative paper, do a group paper and presentation on some ads, participate in some facebook discussions.
