Comment:

I looked forward to her class every single week. She's funny, engaging, and I have so much respect for her. Knows her stuff and cares about you. Participation is key as it's an acting class. There's a good amount of work outside of class but she gives you the first half of the semester to complete most of it. Do your work, have fun, & you'll pass.

Dr. Liz is so cool. Her class is really fun and not stressful at all. Be prepared to do two monologues and a scene all memorized throughout the semester. Also the first week you have to learn everyone's name and one fact about them for a test. Overall easy and fun!

I took Experience Acting as a Rowan requirement and I thought it was going to be awful but it ended up being my favorite class ever! Dr. Liz is a super great teacher and an amazing person, and makes everyone feel comfortable while doing different acting exercises and activities. It's a unique class where I actually met some of my closest friends!

Comment:

I took Experiencing Acting to fulfill my ACE requirement. I was dreading this class but it ended up being my favorite class, I would actually look forward to it. Dr. Liz is an amazing teacher and she really pushes everyone to be a family. I made a lot of friends in that class. Even the shy kids came out of their shell by the end.

Dr. Liz is a great teacher who really cares about the subjects she teaches. The plays aren't always good, but there is always something to learn from them. She drops 2 quiz grades and gives you enough other work to make up for your weak areas. The only downside to her classes is the fact that you take with mostly theater majors who are loud. It's hard to hear her or make a point at times due to everyone talking at once. It can be a bit chaotic, but fun.

Great teacher. Very funny, very smart. Makes class extremely interesting-lots of group discussion. You will read a lot of short plays but quizzes are easy if you read the plays. Gives every opportunity to get a good grade by allowing re-writes of papers. Take this class if you have the chance.

dr liz makes every class enjoyable- you don't have to go as long as you get the notes. STUDY for the tests or you will fail horribily. just try and you'll do fine. you'll like the class if you attend because she's SO MUCH FUN and she makes the subject extremely relateable and interesting
