Professor Nixon is one of the most real teachers I've had here. While she isn't the easiest teacher here at kean but she's one of those teachers who's seen some crazy stuff and uses that in her classes. Theirs a quiz each week but it's a small quiz and the three exams are either take home, open notes, or partners. Just do your work, and show up

Great class taught by prof. nixon. Easy A as long as you come to class. Class conversations often drifted away from the topic, which is always fun. It is very important to read the assigned reading as she gives reading quizzes everyday. would definitely take another class taught by prof. nixon. Take her class!

Tough class - need to do the work. Very good teacher, learn a lot if you pay attention and show up to class. 12 quizzes, (some take home or open book/with partner) WILL NOT tolerate nonsense, overall definitely suggest this class.

Her class isnt hard at all, as long as you read the textbook and study for her quizzes you'll be fine. 11 quizzes and 1 project, the quizzes are really specific so you HAVE to study and the project is the easiest thing in the world. It's an easy A take her.

OK, not to rain on everyones parade here but..I agree she is a VERY helpful Prof. but being in this class is like watching paint dry. She's so concerned about the sylabus and adminstive class issues that she sometimes forgets what the point is.The points in the class are ALWAYS how women are discrimated against and the double standard they endure.

i dunno what everyone is talking about saying shes so amazing. shes horrible...your grade is only based on participation and the quizzes worth 10 pts. she doesn't tell you waht the quizzes are on, she just tells you to read the whole chapter. i wouldn't reccomend her unless you want to see ****s flying around in class. i'm serious.

GGRREEAATTEE!! If you are looking for a fun and interesting professor, this is the one! She can be tough but extreamly fair. AMAZING professor. One of my favorite classes. Shes so interesting. She cares about her kids so much, and the discussions we have in the class are so interesting. She never keeps us in class longer than 2 hrs, shes SO helpful. I've learned more in this class than anyother at Kean.

She is a sweetheart. If you want an easy A, just go to class, do the readings, and participate.. it sounds tough but it really is not. I took her for Health perspectives women.
