Pros: Great explanation according to materials related to database design. Someday, she would go over the homework assignments that students should complete prior to class. Offer practice exams to students so they can be fully prepared for the actual exams. Cons: Lecture can be nonstop. Can be messy most times. Sometimes, her grading is delayed

Professor Weeden is a super-power professor. She cares so much about the course she teaches and goes above and beyond to create materials and assignments for the course, by herself. She takes an immense amount of care making sure her students are for successful, spending lots of time grading and being fair when grading and making it clear how.

Weeden is a very nice professor and knows her material, but isn't the best lecturer. Drones on through overly complicated slides with no class interaction. I didn't go to half of the classes and was able to do all of the work and get an A in the class.

Great professor. Knows her stuff and presents it well to the class. Understands which topics are difficult to grasp at first and works around her schedule to make sure students understand a topic. Goes thru and gives great example problems, step by step, explaining everything. Helpful outside of class. Enjoyable and slightly challenging class.

One of the best professors in the entire IT department. Extremely helpful, really knows her stuff, goes out of her way to work with students. She takes feedback at the start of the class and really listens. Excellent professor, easy A if you come to class and pay attention and do the homework/PEs.

All the material is presented in very clear terms. Between the powerpoints, many in class examples, crystal clear explanations of concepts, availibilty during office hours, and practice excercises and homeworks that not only cover everything that was covered in class, but also prepare you for tests there is no reason to not learn the material.

Fantastic teacher...for the most part its interesting, and with the PE's and HW's you're very well prepared for the tests and what we're talking about in class. Anyways, simply fantastic for database fundamentals

Elissa Weeden is a nice lady. She isn't the most helpful person I've ever met though, I feel like she has a lot on her plate and is not good with email (often answering them rudely or not at all). The class was enjoyable and I learned a lot. She was extremely helpful on the final practical and gave us one hour extra. I'd take her again.
