Dr. Boquet is incredibly unclear about her assignments. Even when students would directly ask questions, she would avoid specifics about her expectations. It created a lot of unnecessary confusion.

Prof Boquet seems like she cares about all her students and she does but she favors english/education majors. She is very unclear about assignments and a lot of them seem like just busy work. She is a very tough grader. She was helpful throughout the semester, however, I don't think she understood how challenging her class was.

Horrible teacher. Unclear on assignments, grades based on if she likes you or not, not the quality of your paper. Worst teacher I've ever had. I'm a second semester senior with a 3.97 GPA trust me I know. She's horrible. DO NOT TAKE

As a business major looking for a third english and a us div. autobiog was the class to take. boquet is nice and can relate to her students. majority of grade is not know till end of semester however when final two papers are due. makes you write journals on reading during the semester. no tests, fair grader.

I have no idea where all this crazy negativity is coming from; it's impossible not to like this teacher unless of course you can't handle constructive criticism that'll ultimately make you a better writer anyway. If you want an easy A then you're lazy; if you want an A that will insure other A's on papers in the future, take boquet.
