Well, I really hoped that all the previous comments i heard about Day were wrong. But they are not. This teacher is not recommended if you wish to have a decent GPA. Her tests are not always the same as she covers in class, and her multiple choice is like Free Reponse with 4 possible answers. If you can transfer, do so as soon as possible.

She is great! Her teaching style is very straight forward, and she would love to help you if you go ask her. Just make sure that you understand her lecture notes, then you should be fine. She seems to be very hard in the begining, but seriously everything will turn out fine in the end.

She feels that a D is really good grade to recieve in lecture, because when you add your lab grade you will probably have a C, which she feels is great. Well it really isn't if your trying to get into pharm school, or dentistry school. If you can get a better professor I suggest taking someone else.

didn't care much for her lectures, she has a strange sense of humor and laughs with herself.. but i thought her tests were pretty tough. don't bother doing the assigned problems, they don't help. study her old exams and in-class group problems.

lecture is very easy to follow, but mostly out of the book. tests are straightforward with multiple choice and free response (more points from free response). she posts old tests and assigns book problems. just remember 2nd semester chem is harder.
