Dr. Denny isn't a bad teacher. My only problem with her class is her tests and lecture. For you to understand the material, you'll have to read the book AND ask questions because sometimes she is extremely vague. I feel like her tests doesn't reflect the way she lectures . She does drop lowest grade & at least in my class 88 is an A no extra credit

She is a nice lady, but her teaching style is terrible. Attendance not require. Lectures are mono and long. READ and FIND YOUR OWN EXAMPLES TO UNDERSTAND THE TEXT. ALL HER TEST IS APPLIED, YOU HAVE TO BE ABLE TO IDENTIFY EXAMPLES. I had to study two weeks ahead to pass her test. Her grading scale is great. IF YOU DONT STUDY YOU WILL FAIL.

This was my worst class ever, it is very very boring, did not know a word that was coming out of her mouth. Didnt see the point coming to class since she doesnt do attendance and I could not follow along with her mono tone teaching. Plus side her grading scale is pretty good.

Took intro psych. Easy material. Take notes and do tests. Made an 85 on final exam without studying. B in the class without opening the book. She doesn't provide a syllabus online and expects you to follow it with no reminders in class, so hold on to that thing. I don't regret taking her class.

Took Dr. Denny for Methods 3, what a snooze. Everyone practically slept through that class. The test are impossible and she is so boring. Unfortunately she is the only one that teaches it and you have to take it for Psych Major =[ On the plus side I failed every test and made a C.

This course was much easier than I had heard it would be. Just read the book and go to class most of the time. She does tell you what you need to know during class.

Honestly, she is not a bad teacher! Tests really aren't that hard if you follow the bold words and main themes in the book. She tells you most of the stuff in class, and even if you don't go, just follow the book. It was an easy A in my experience.

I thought se was a good teacher all around, but her tests were extremely hard. Though I came out with a B, I had to study 3 weeks ahead of time just to be ready for one test.

Not that bad of a prof...it's the class itself and the material that make it hard to like. Denny is a pretty good teacher though, and gives every opportunity for you to know what is going on in class...Exams are wicked hard though, and she doesnt prepare that well for them...U have to actually READ and REREAD the material on your own if you hope to do well...

She was wicked hard but made class discussions fun. Tests were killer! She has multiple choice tests with four answers that are correct. You have to chose the BEST answer. The only reason I got out of there with a B is the fact that she assigns a few papers throughout the semester.

Needs to be a little flexible. Not all students are children, we are grown adults and therefore we need to be treated like adults. Need to be more sensitive to people's livelihood (jobs) and families.

Absolutely the worst class in this program. Unclear tests and unclear instructions on her hard 20 page papers. Avoid like the plague as she charges students with cheating regularly.
