I took one of the last classes she taught and its a real shame to see a great professor go. Although difficult, she really makes sure you learn the material rather than just memorize stuff. You definitely have to work, but it will show. Without a doubt, I devoted the most time to this class, but it was worth it to get that A.

Great teacher!! She really goes over what she wants you to learn. You still need to do your homework and problems from the book. Unfortunately, she is not going to teach next semester, but hopefully in the future!!

She is the best accounting teacher I ever had! She will go over material in class, explain how it is done, but it is your responsibility to make it your own. Homework are not exactly as the in class problems. She requires you to think, read the book, and really understand the material. Memorizing won't help on exams!

The Best accounting professor i ever had. You will LEARN alot from her. Nothing is spoon fed to you. Whatever grade you got is what you earned! She will get you ready for the real world. I wouldnt mind taking her for 121A.

Grace is a tough grader when it comes to exams, but she's willing to help students, if you seek it. Do the homework assigned & review the classwork problems to study for exams and you should be fine. But note that she really does expect you to understand the material, so memorizing the way you do the problems won't work for her exams.

Professor Grace is the best professor in the Accounting department of San Jose State. I know that the class is hard but at least she teaches well, she is not like the other teachers that teach off slides. like Turetsky.

Grace is NOT easy, but you have to put in the effort and time to really pass this class. Class problems = problems on the test with slight format change. Final is not mandatory. Got a low C and mid Bs on the 3 midterms and passed the class with a B+ and put a lot of study time into this class. Grace is the BEST!

Class notes&problems that she puts on d2l are used each & every class. She's an average professor. She gets annoyed when people ask questions. After every exam she would tell the class that if you scored in the 60's or even in the 50's you are fine. But when it came around to grading she handed out C-. Extremely misleading and not true to her word.

So she is hard but she is very knowledgeable on the topic. She curves but still...not as high as you would. the class average was 60 sth for my class...sometimes she is so fast and i have a hard time to catch up. if you realli have to take her, I would suggest you to study really hard, may be you can get a good grade for that....

The first day of class I thought this would be one of my harder courses. 174 turned out to be one of my easier classes, professor grace is a good professor and has an interest in what she teaches; plus she wants her students to succeed. As long as you go to class and take good notes, you'll be fine. I never once opened the book and got an A

If I was the Dean of the Business Department, she would be the first Professor I would fire out of my faculty. Very Rude, does not help students at all. Professor grace does use exams from previous semesters, yet she pretends that her exams are freash made every semester. Stay away!!! She doesn't know how to teach!!!

Dr. Grace is not as bad as what most people say. Her test are hard I admit, but this is an intermediate Acct class, it's expected to be hard. Read the text and do the HW and you should do fine. She is not mean at all and she's approachable. One thing I would change about this class is "STOP USING CPA EXAM QUESTIONS FOR THE EXAMS!".hehe.

The material is hard. She will do problems in class but doesn't teach the material, you'll have to teach it to ur self at home. She just does problems and asks every 10 min. "are yall ok?" when she know that no one understands what she is doing. And shell just continue doing problems and youll continue to be confused.
