Dr. Leonard's class will make you face things and think about things that you might have otherwise ignored. She's an interesting person and despite being a little older, she keeps up with all of the trends in pop culture, and she consistantly referrs to things in class, it's really funny.

I have to say that Dr. Leonard not only gave me a passion for all of Sociology, she had to have ben one of my best professors while at Vanguard. She is amazingly intelligent and wants her students to do well. She shows a few movies, all are very interesting and beneficial, not boring. She offers extra credit, and is AWESOME!

She definitely made Sociology a live subject. I never liked the subject until her class. She is biased toward talking about women's rights, but for good reason. It's fun to learn about her experiences. I'm glad she's willing to teach undergrad classes.

Elizabeth Dermody Leonard is my personal hero. She was my strength when I doubted and the sole reason I am pursuing a career as a prosecutor with the D.A.'s office. Dr. Leonard is a treasure and anyone who has ever been in her presence should feel honored to learn from her.
