Dr. Johnson's lectures are very helpful- but a lot of info. You hv to study everything- literally, the review shld say: study every word & slide. Expect HW. He's very helpful, nice, gives extra cred, very lenient grader. Lectures are recorded &posted online- use them. Ask questions, he truly wants you to do well. Optional final. Loved the class.

I loved taking this class! I was interested in the subject matter, and having the powerpoints and audio recordings of the lectures was an added bonus. The tests were fairly difficult, but he curved the grades for both the tests and the final averages. I didn't care for the lab that went with this class, but this particular lecture was great!

Great lectures! Just in case you miss he puts them online too. PowerPoint plus lecture =tests. nothing from left field, no excuse for anything other than an A. Pay attention to examples.

Dr. Johnson is a great teacher. He records all lectures and posts podcasts. He also posts all his powerpoints. If you attend class tests are easy because the tests come exclusively from his lectures. He gives many helpful hints during class about the tests. The most difficult part of class was online homework... long, but right out of text.

Dr. Johnson is a great professor. His lectures are very interesting, even though this subject has little appeal to me. As long as you pay attention in class and take decent notes, you can make an A on his exams. Study a couple of nights before the exam and you will do fine.

Very good teacher. Lectures interesting and informative. No book was used, all information came from lectures. Some other materials referred to(portions of a text book and powerpoints), but all were available on blackboard. Teaches through examples. Test essay questions correlated directly with examples. Attendance and mild studying required

Not the best teacher. He takes so many point off of the essay portion of his test, that you may fail. THe multiple choice portion, i would get everything right, but then hardly anything on the essay part. Also very arrogent adn not always available to talk to.

His lectures were interesting. His tests were a little difficult, but if you pay attention in class you should get an A. He has a great curve at the end of the semester. I got A's on every test and never opened the book. I love his orange shoes, why hasn't he gotten a chili pepper yet?
