I've never really liked reading and writing but after taking both Eng Comp 1&2, I feel way more confident in what I read and how I respond to it. I've become a more thoughtful writer thanks to her support (and constant papers and discussions) and valuable feedback. She is an incredible teacher who really care about her students and their success!

I loved Pro. Rhodes . Just go to class and you will be fine. She doesn't do late work but gives you plenty of chances to improve your grade .

She is very flexible and willing to work. I had a surgery and she gave me a couple extensions. I emailed her a lot and she always responded. Truly gave feedback with the intent of helping and did a lot to help you in her class.

SHE IS ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! She actually CARES about her students. There is no book, which saves money. She is a tough grader but she does allow you to revise a paper if you aren't happy with the grade. She will give you an extension as well if you have a lot going on, you just have to ask. I wish she could teach every class at the university!

For a non-english major, she makes Fiction Appreciation a fun and interesting class. Be prepared to read a lot of short stories and novels, and be quizzed on them. Overall, very informative class and awesome teacher.

Best professor I have ever had. However her class in no way is easy, you have to earn the grade and she is a tough grader but she gives the chance to revise every paper and gives feedback. She is extremely funny and always cares about the students and if you put in the effort it will be a good grade!

Professor Rhoades is probably one of the best professors I have had so far. She's incredibly clear and concise with instructions and gives good feedback. She hates when people are late or miss her class. Expect a lot of homework, but if you actually do it and put effort into it, you'll easily get an A in her class

She does assign a good amount of papers, but if you write them before they are due, she'll review them and tell you what to change for a better grade when you turn it in. She's always willing to listen to you and she will always try to help you. All of this, assumes that you that are active in class. If you don't participate, she won't be as kind.

Really good teacher, my favorite this semester. She really shows an interest in her students and really connects with her students. She's funny and her class never has a dull moment. Not any tests but a good amount of papers. She is a tough grader but she gives you a chance to revise every paper and get points back so it makes up for it! Take her!
