Comment:

The whole grade was based off of 3 tests and 3 homework assignments. Its good if you trust yourself to be able to understand Econ well, since theres little work. Im not sure she cares about attendance.. You get cheat sheets for tests, but often the test questions were not too related to the material we went over, which made it difficult.

Comment:

I saw many reviews saying she was unclear but she was very clear in my class. I recommend reading the textbook chapter before her class because she definitely clarifies, but you can read it after as well. I love her teaching style and she is so cute (like a cool aunt). I cannot really find any fault in her as a professor.

If you are not comfortable with Stats, please don't take this class with Savoca. She is very smart and organized however, the topic is hard and she males it 100 times harder. You really really Have to work hard for this class. She will be excellent working for the government but bot as a teacher.

She knows her stuff very well and she has high expectations. Class may be hard and sometimes a little boring. But she is very organized. It won't be easy to get high grades so you have to study hard for that. I truly learn things from her class. I will recommend her class.

She's indeed a difficult woman. She expects every student to be stats genius, so she's pretty strict. i always feel frustrated after asking her about problems. she doesn't let you resubmit your problem sets, either. i'm sure i'll forget all i learned in her class afterward, since i didn't really get the essence of the materials.

I find her to be very clear and straightforward with her explanations. Things that made no sense to me when I read, and re-read them in the book were suddenly clear when she explained them. Her lectures are well organized and she is more than willing to spend time with you if/when you need help. I think she is an excellent professor.

Lectures were at best tepid and adequate - often they were unnecessarily complicated and boring. She's hard to get in touch with and seemed to play favorites regarding her attitude toward certain students in the class. grading often seemed arbitrary. what a painful and awful experience. take the class with someone else, or off campus.

professor savoca is *at best* just okay. her teaching is really boring, although you do have to give her some points for being really well-organized. on a more personal side, she can be rude and annoying.

She is one of the worst teachers I have ever had. She will bore you to tears by writting everything she says on the board. Essentialy if she posted her lecture notes on the course website there would be no need to attend class. But if you like that then you will like this teacher very much she is clear in thew ay that she teaches.
