With the knowledge that Dr. Garza is going to be retiring, I feel that UTSA is losing a real gem of a professor. This is my second class with Dr. Garza, and I learned so much and absolutely loved his lectures. Grading criteria and assignment expectations were made crystal clear from day one. Come to class, pay close attention, and type fast!

This class was super boring because he just rambled on and on. But it's a super easy class! weekly "essays" 2 questions from the book. One major 8-10 page paper(super easy don't worry :)) just use the book for the review and you should be fine! I never went to class and i got an A just study for the test once he puts up the review

His lectures are a bit boring, but he adds humor to them. The weekly assignments are very easy. Three exams total and he provides a study guide or each. There is an 8-10 paged term paper due at the end of the semester. Not a bad class if you attend and do your part.

Nice guy and means well, the class is two exams, a 12 page paper, and a final. Probably get more clarity from the book. Lectures slides are packed from corner to corner with info and moves through them too fast a past to get any meaningful info down. Doesn't post slides on blackboard either. Best to listen to what he says and jot that down

Dr. Garza is a nice person; but it is pointless to attend this class. He goes through the Powerpoints so fast that you can't take notes. You aren't supposed to take pictures, but most did anyway. Just read the chapters, concentrate on doing the reviews and you should be okay.

Dr. Garza is very passionate about his work. He takes real interest in his students. I went to one of his office hours and he was of great help. The majority of the info from his test comes from his power points and a few from the book

Dr.Garza is very passionate about what he teaches. He is a huge resource of information and knows what he is talking about. Print out the powerpoint slides and take them to class and take extra notes. His review is equivalent to his exam, so make sure you do it! You inly need to use to book to help find the answers to the lectures. Good class!

This class is a joke. I came into this class with an interet in Cross-cultural psychology, but this man killed it. He reads straight from his slides, which are straight from the book. He is really boring. You don't need to come to class. You can print his slides from his website. Easy A. Would not reccomend this professor if you want to learn.

Dr. Garza is passionate about what he teaches, he seems to honestly enjoy the material. If you attend class, you should be set (huge extra credit opportunity with this). I experimented; I missed some classes and read the book, and then I attended classes and didn't read much, and in both scenarios I got A's on exams. Review his PowerPoints

I loved Dr. Garza. Class can be kind of boring because he lectures using power point, but he finds ways of making it interesting. You have to write a paper at the end, but he lets you pick the topic so it's really not a problem. MUST READ THE BOOK!!!! Material is interesting, though. Always willing to help, really loves what he does. Great guy.

Garza isn't too easy, and can be very confusing. Read the chapters to pass tests. He emphasizes studying his over head material for tests, but I followed his advice and made a C on the first test. I read the chapters, hardly studied the over head notes, from then on and made A's. He is lenient and curves grades, but a little strange.
