One of the best professors at Binghamton. You will not find a more caring, sweet, funny, intelligent or passionate professor in the English department. I've taken several of her classes and I enjoyed each one of them. Professor S is the best. Take a class with her, you will not regret it.

children's lit is by far the easiest class at binghamton with prof signorotti. 2 papers and 2 in class quizzes for which she provides the questions and allows an index card of information reading is not required as she gives extensive in class notes, she takes attendeance every day in lecture though

Children's lit is one of the easiest classes I've taken at Binghamton. She's very caring and wants to see everyone do well. If you put effort into all the assignments it's a rather easy A. Read the books for the quizzes, since they are pretty specific. However, I didn't read for either of my essays and got high 90s on both. She takes attendance!

One of the most caring teachers I've had at Binghamton University. She engages with students outside of the class and inside, and reading children's literature is also fantastic with her. She's funny, super easy to talk to and theres only 2 quizzes and 2 papers.

LOVE THIS PROFESSOR. The class and the curriculum are interesting. Professor Signorotti is funny and personable. Assignments aren't too tough if you come to every class and do the required reading. I'd recommend the class to anyone looking to pursue a degree in English literature.

BEST PROFESSOR EVER. This class was so interesting and she honestly made it even more fun. I can't wait to take another class with her because she is so down to earth and genuinely cares. she actually wants her students to learn, not to just get a grade. 12/10 recommend to everyone, regardless of their major

interesting lectures. Has 2 quizzes and two 5 page papers in a semester. She doesn't give essay prompts which may be confusing but also lets you be liberal with your writing. For essays, you just need to be analytic and write in her voice to get a high grade. Overall easy class and you don't need to read cause she explains key points the next day

I had never done a mandatory reading for class before, because I like to do things on my own schedule. Her adolescent lit class was the first time I ever read for a class because of how engaging and entertaining she was during class. It wasn't her talking at you about the content, it was like genuine a conversation that you would have a friend.

She's funny, full of energy, and always happy to help. She's open to different ideas and happy to engage in discussions with students. She's a great help on essays, and she really tries to make sure everyone gets an A. I am graduating this semester, but I am auditing her YA Dystopian class next semester cause I enjoy her teaching so much! Love her!

Professor Signorotti has to be one of my favorites! She really just wants you to pass her class so she really is not a stickler in Children's Literature. I would suggest reading but in all honesty you can just show up to class and pass the quizzes no problem. I know some people didnt read at all but it just makes the papers easier to write.

Professor Signorotti is awesome and does all of her own grading. She gives great feedback, and has high expectations for her students. She wants to see everyone improve, and she's always willing to make time outside of class if you need help. She definitely helped me improve my analytical skills, which has helped me in other classes.

I do not understand the fuss with her being so popular. Everything is completely TA graded, and totally subjective. I took two different classes of hers during one semester, and got an A- in the one, and a C+ in the other. It all depends on your TA. I honestly found her annoying to listen to as well. I don't recommend her.

Professor Signorotti is a fantastic teacher and person. The Semiotics material is inherently confusing, but she presents it in an extremely intelligent and clear way. Once you get a hang of Semiotics, it will change the way you look at the world forever. As she says, "It's the theory of life." Would recommend taking any class with her.

professor was always ready to teach and was very relatable to students. go to her office hours for help on your papers/quizzes. the semiotics book was very tedious so make sure you go to class when she discusses it.

Dr. Signorotti is a fantastic and well respected professor in Binghamton, and for great reason! She comes to class prepared, and goes full throttle the entire lecture to hammer in the themes of novels. Children's Literature is based upon 2 papers, and 2 quizzes, all four of which are easy if you read, and most readings can be found free online.

Professor Signorotti is a great professor. As someone who is not an English major, I enjoyed this class so much more than I thought I would. You definitely have to read but all the texts are meant for children, so nothing is really hard to get through. Would definitely take one of her classes again.

She is definitely one, if not the best professor I've had so far. She is always full of energy and funny despite the subject. Semiotics was boring, but the young adult books were great. I actually had fun preparing for a final on The Hunger Games. Go to office hours b/c she is so nice + helpful. You can easily tell she cares a lot about herstudents

Best professor at BU! She is not only really funny but she is also enthusiastic and well informed in children's literature. As long as you show up to lecture and keep up with the readings (about one story per week) then you will most likely get an A.
