Comment:
The class was boring. if the class doesnt participate it gets really awkward and she tends to ramble. She can tank you at the end of the semester bc she doesn't like you and attribute it to "participation" or your final essay, both are subjective so it's hard to argue. I should've gotten an A bc I did well on tests but ended up with a B somehow.

Holy jesus christ she is extremely boring. Classes are a rough ride to get through. It is not a hard class at all though. Very little hw and tests are all based off online practice quizzes.

She is a bit monotone and the class can be abstract but challenge yourself and you will learn a lot. I really enjoyed the two classes I took with her.

One of the worst that I've taken at Bryant. Aside from her illogical explanations throughout the semester that pertain to nothing course related, she has a select few cronies that wait on her every word. Unless you're one of them, she acts like you're stupid and could care less about how you do in her class. Zero respect for business students.

There are a couple small individual projects and a couple group projects. None are that hard. There are a few readings a week and occasionally a movie. Don't read the history book, we didnt use it. 5 random quizzes which she grades easily on. two 5-7 pg papers she also grades pretty easy on. Mandatory attendance. I would recommend and take again.

Way too much work for an elective. Projects sound simple but end up taking hours. Class is extreamly boring as well. Presents powerpoints with lots of words on plan white slides which she does not post.

My first night class at Bryant and it was a great one. Perfect class to take at night because Prof. Walden mixes lectures with films. Attend class, do the film reviews, and the only other grades are participation and 3 critical essays analyzing films. Learned a lot about film and she was extremely insightful and helpful. PERFECT upper lvl LCS class

This professor is very knowledgeable and expects a lot out of her students. If you do the work, and if you understand the reading well, then you will do fine. It is rigorous. You need to do a lot of the work on your own. Comprehension is up to you. I would not recommend this class to anyone who is unsure of whether they can handle the course load.

OMG WORST I EVER HAD..... she does not answer your question. Yes the class is difficult but when the teacher does not help it is HORRIBLE. She is thesis statement crazy, she says go to ACE but I took my paper to ACE and they liked the thesis but of Walden still did not so again she is not a helpful teacher. DO NOT TAKE HER IF POSSIBLE!!!!

LCS 151. HORRIBLE. I can understand tht the class is hard, but when a class is hard and the teacher is not helpful it makes it impossible to pass the class much less improve. if you can, don't take this class, this is your WARNING. but if you do have her, good luck!

She is a tough grader, she doesnt take any bull and she does give a lot of reading. She likes when students participate. Do not come late or use your phone, she hates when she feels like students dont care. As long as you get on her good side you should be ok.

She looks tough and she is kinda tough. But, she can be darn funny! Very interesting class. She loves participation. And, seriously, the subjects she is covering are interesting. She can be a tough grader, but at least she is a fair one. You get what you worked for. She loves "to-the-point" participation, so don't BS her. You'll do fine ;)

VERY monotonous. Show up for class ON TIME because she hates lateness and people who do not seem to care. The 1st paper is broad and the 2nd paper is a lot of work. Highlight main vocab on the assignment sheet and write down the definition once she says it because it helps on the papers.

This woman is dry, monotone and extremely smart. It's too bad she can't convey the course concepts as well as she knows them. This should have been a much more interesting class than it was. I'd avoid her, even if you love LCS.
