One of my favorite professors from my time at NCC. She offers excellent feedback on your completed work and allows you to resubmit after fixing the errors. If you get a grade that you're unhappy with, it's 100% your own fault. To this day I go back to papers I wrote in her class to make sure my citations and other little things are in correct form.

Professor wheeler really is one of my best professors for my first year at Nassau, all you have to do is make sure you turn in your work and that its good, so really its an easy A, she give you your paper back for revision and a better grade! She does talk a lot but its college but grading wise she really is great, if u want to pass its up to u

The course is easy, but I wasnt crazy about her. Shes an outspoken liberal and her lectures are incredibly boring. She does give you the opportunity to revise your papers, though. If you put the work into them, youll pass.

Wonderful woman. Reading assigned every class, not too much though (1-20pgs). Discussions in class about reading. 1 Research paper, 1 essay, midterm and final (each with an essay). Not a difficult class. She lets you do revisions after each submission so theres really no way you can not get an A on each paper if you work for it.

Very knowledgeable about subject. Easily goes off on tangents. Pretend to be interested, ask a few questions now and then, and shell love you. A bit on the dementia side, but a nice person. Requires a research paper which is can be on anything on the subject. You can miss a few classes. Required reading is more a suggestion than anything.

Terrible in every sense of the word. Goes off on random tangents and makes literal animal noises when no one answers questions during class. Papers are easy but lengthy. She was not once on time, however shell lecture past the end of class; people have walked out while shes still talking multiple times. Do not take this class even for an elective

Gives opportunity to rewrite your paper and get a better grade. midterm and finial are easy. some students expect to go to college put in very little work and get a good grade. it is impossible. some people wants everything easy.

Does not teach well, goes off on a 15 min long tangents when trying to answer a question. She also growls at the class if you don't answer her questions.

She is a pathetic excuse for a teacher. Granted you will get an easy A but at the expense of your sanity. She just rambles about the most random topics and then gives assignments to remind you that this is a college class. She cares but its just a fail.

An extremely unhelpful and nasty. She clearly could care less about her job and frequently says college is a giant scam in class. She changes due dates frequently. It's her way or the LIE. Most literature can be interoperated in more ways than one, however not for this woman. You basically get an A if your opinion matches hers.

Fantastic, smart and funny Professor. She was wonderful, made the classes really fun. Picked great short stories to read and write about. The topics that we wrote about were interesting. She gave us a chance to correct our already grated essays to improve our grades. The midterms are piece of cake (if you read the works and hand in essays).

If you aren't retarded like most of you are, you'll get an A. The midterm and final are SO easy. Memorize the definitions of 5 words, that's 25% of your midterm grade. The papers are mad short, 3 pages long. She lets you revise them as many times as you want to get a better grade. All you have to really do is make it look like you really want an A.

she's a pretty interesting professor. She is nice, very interested in mythology and sometimes makes jokes that isn't really funny. She says "yayyy" a lot which is very weird too. But, she is helpful, acts like she knows a lot of stuff--just ignore her. but if i would recommend her--i would just suggest people to take an online class.

She is always there if you need help. Every essay I did, she sat with me after class and went over everything I did wrong. She did the same with anyone who cared about their grade. She will push you but it's still an easy class. I'm a better writer because of her and I would definitely recommend her. - Hus

By far one of the nicest teachers I've ever had. Very easy to understand, process, and reproduce material learned onto her tests. Dr. Wheeler cares immensely about her students and is very passionate in her teaching style. Would gladly take another class with her no questions asked =)

Prof Wheeler is wonderful :) She is passionate about literature and will love if you are as well. You can resubmit essays for better grades and talk to her if you need help. She is willing to help you, and not a hard grader. She is on your side! She is very intelligent, but don't be intimidated. She's also funny. I'd love to take her class again!

Very nice woman; can be cranky occasionally, but so can I. She makes me smile when she shows her passion and enthusiasm for literature. She teaches a challenging subject, however is very reasonable with assignments and was very nice to students victimized by hurricane sandy. I admire her, and knowing what I know now, would take her class again.

Easy class! She really isnt as bad as everyone says. Her class gets boring, but shes nice & cares about her students. For her summer class we had to write 2 essays & a research paper at home & we had an in-class midterm and a final, which were open notebook & textbook. If ur not sure about something, ask her bc her essay topics may not be clear
