One of the BEST professors Ive had at RIC! The nicest most helpful teacher I have ever taken. If you do the work, attend class and participate you will be absolutely fine. Bigler tries to make her students feel welcomed and accepted. She talks a lot about Multicultural education and she is truly the definition and inspiration for future teachers.

Dr. Bigler is one of my favorite professors at RIC. I've had her for 2 courses: Anthro 101 & FNED 346. She is very sweet, and does a good job at creating a comfortable atmosphere in her classes. This is important, as her courses are discussion-based. These discussions are engaging, and interesting. Do the homework, and you'll succeed in her class.

FNED346 is a wonderful class, Dr.Bigler is a great teacher. She has a wealth of experience and is very helpful and available outside of the classroom. Participation and preparation are important, but if you put in the work you'll get a good grade and a get a lot out of the class.

One of the best! If you had a difficult time in her class it is because you are lazy or a simpleton. I am currently teaching at the high school level and use many of the handouts and topics from her class in my own classes now.

Mirroring her personal opinions on subjective issues is the only correct answer in her class. Her opinion is correct, everything else is wrong. Also likes to overload non-class time w/ stuff. Hands down worse prof I've ever had.

Dr Bigler was a great teacher. She helps people see issues from each angle in order to make educated decisions. Her classes fly by because they are mostly discussions. She values student opinion, and often asks students to direct the discussions. This class was a good experience.
