Comment:

Professor Glovsky is one of the nicest professors at Northeastern. Go to every class; she takes attendance. Even though it was required for my major, I would recommend this class to anyone because it's so interesting and Glovsky keeps the science basic. Don't bother buying the text- you only use it for 1 project and it's available in Snell.

I had her for nutrition in fall 2008. Absolutely adore her, shes passionate about her subject, very sweet, and though attendance wasn't mandatory, I wanted to go! Easy and fun class, don't pay for the textbook though.

awsome teacher...made me want to take more nutrition classes...dont buy the book (noone ever even opened it)...all test info is from the slides but her lectures make the info intersting...dont forget to study!

I love Professor Glovsky! Her lectures are usually interesting, because nutrition actually applies to real life. I learned a lot of useful information from her. She really wants you to do well and she even gave extra credit for the midterm. You don't have to study a lot to do well. Everyone is capable of getting an A in her class!

Her class is pretty boring because all she does is read off her powerpoint presentations, however some of the stuff is interesting. STUDY FOR HER TESTS AND QUIZZES!!! Even tho most of the material seems like common sense her tests and quizzes are very hard!She gives extra credit tho which is good.

she literally designed the course, so it's her favorite stuff. it's a treat for her to teach this and you benefit from it. assignments are very easy if you remember to do them. mostly, you just have to be up for thought and conversation. she understands that you're busy with other classwork.
