My experience was positive with this professor. She definatly knew her stuff and told us stories of her family to prove points which helped us remember. She's very caring and helpful to her students, This i know first hand. Honestly most of the people that i know, love her as a professor. I also think that because she is a very strong female, a lot of the male students often didn't like her, i think they were a little intimidated.

Don't bother taking notes because they have nothing to do with the exams- just memorize the textbooks and you'll be set to pass the class. She is NOT very helpful, she is NOT attentive to her students, and all she does is talk about her family- NOBODY CARES!

She is a very animated and knowledgeable professor. You will not fall asleep in her class. But she comes off as being very arrogant and definitly picks favorites with her students. Her tests are very difficult and you will have to work VERY hard to do well.

lectures have nothing to do w/tests. they are open book but she words the questions funny that you have more than one option. ...no actual correct answer. wouldn't recommend her, plus u have to do a journal and volunteer hours plus a presentation.

Open notebook and textbook tests, you need to read the book if you expect to pass those tests (the info on the tests is in the book, trust me). Didn't like the fact that we had to find our own placement in record time (i took the class over the summer).

Prof. definitly knows what she's talking about and is very passionate about it. however, her teaching method isn't as good. She makes you write 5-7 pages ("let's write this down") and those notes have absolutly nothing to do with the tests, those are open book but you have to search for the answers
