A very kind-hearted professor. You'll learn a lot from the class but the workload is not too overwhelming. There are assignments every week but as long as you do them, you will get good grades. Final and Midterm are both take-home and there is also a research paper.

By far the most life impacting class if you are interested in Genocide. Mr. Lefkovitz is the most sincere, amazing, inspiring man I have ever had as a teacher. He is so obsessed and dedicated to his work. Flexible with everything, you won't regret taking this class at all.

An absolute pleasure! He is a wonderful professor. He taught this course with the care and sensitivity a class of this nature deserves. In terms of interactions with students, he is extremely understanding and accommodating and interested in student feedback. Take him if you can!

20th century genocide is a difficult subject to teach, but Dr. Lefkovitz did a good job with it. He's a passionate professor who is more than willing to accomodate students, and extensions are possible. A plethora of handouts given out, grade is based on little take home assignments, a mid-term (take-home), paper, and final (all essay). Take him!

He is a great guy. There is quite a bit of reading and response assignments but they are not terrible. He is a very smart man and lectures very well. I enjoyed his class immensely. A fair grader, an approchable guy, a pleasure to talk to.

Great Teacher. Nicest Guy you'll ever meet. Yes, there were responses almost weekly, but its impossible to get a bad grade on them. Yes, there are a lot of books, but I did probably 10 percent of assigned reading and managed a B+. Take the class.
