Comment:

I took this class online, May 21-June 7. A lot of reading and material to cover in a very short amount of time. Read the book, listen to his lectures and take notes, you won't have a problem. I actually listened to all of the lectures, a second time, right before I took the tests, very helpful. Tests are timed, questions make you think.

Honestly the worst professor I've ever had. Don't take any of his online courses. All his test questions are his opinions, nothing about the textbook. He makes you do ridiculous stuff that has nothing to do with the course. He also cuts off time at 12 noon, instead of 11:59pm like a normal professor.

I took professor Murphy for crim 295 and it was such a amazing class. He was very passionate about the class and looked out for the best interest of his students. Tests weren't bad just go to class and read and you will do fine. The group presentation was pretty easy if you had a good group. Will definitely be taking him again!

Tough professor, had him a few years back. Not the greatest to get to know his students by name. Prepare to read and study at least an hour a night to pull out a B or A.

Dr Murphy is one of the most interesting people I have ever listened to. His class is very tough but it's so worth it because everything you are learning he makes interesting. He is more like a cool (but structured) dad, and on the flip side he is easy on the eyes! I absolutely reccomend!

Dr. Murphy is a good professor, but his classes are extremely difficult. His tests are confusing to read and unless you are an actual lawyer, you probably wont understand everything he is asking. You need to put a ridiculous amount of time into studying in order to do well in this class.

Professor Murphy is a great teacher. He really tries to help everybody, and won't move from the subject until everybody understands the information. He is a nice guy who really wants his students to do well! I can't wait to take him again. I must say that his tests are tricky but if you show up to class and take notes and read the book you'll pass!

He is very challenging makes you think of the application of the law not just know facts. Study everything. If you dont think it was important in the lecture it will most likely be on there. You will love his corny sense of humor and love going to class even if you know your doing bad. If you sit in the front row be prepared for him to talk to you.

Prof. Murphy is one of the best profs I've ever had here at the 'boro. His tests are fair and not too difficult as long as you study. He is a kind and caring man that would do anything to help a student. You need to take him if you can! You'll get so much out of his classes!

Absolutely amazing professor. Expects a lot from his students, but is a very fair and understanding individual. This was the first class that I had taken with him and I am very glad that I did. Tests can be a little tricky, but if you go to class and take notes, you will do fine. I would recommend taking this professor for any class.

Murphy is the man. Very cool guy who has hands on experience. Going to class is like watching a Law and Order episode. Very fun. HIGHLY recommended, but his are tests are a little challenging. Do Not let that deter you from taking this guy. He is very helpful and willing to go the extra mile to help his students. One of the best at Edinboro.

amazingly intelligent, and his class is really fun, and he gives you a lot of chances to get extra credit. His tests are little hard, I studied for a week on the first exam and I got a D... but you learn a lot, and you'll pass if you are a good test taker.

ethics-i thought it was one of the easiest classes you watch movies all the time and do group exercises. You do a big group project, a paper (make sure you follow directions to a T)and a final thats all.the final is a lil bit of work but if you look it up in advance its fine! Awesome professor.hillarious and brings u candy what more could you want

He is an awesome prof. If you are undecided and want to take a CJ course take one with Murphy. If he cannot talk you into majoring in CJ then you don't want to major in CJ.
