I took this class on-line and prior that I new about 80% of material because I had programming classes before and I studied C++ on my own as well. But I still can't say that his class was easy for me. We had quite a lot of homework and a lot of reading from the textbook. I got an A and what helped me a lot were extra credit assignments. He is an okay teacher. For a simple computers credit, i think he gives a little more work then necessary, but then again the work is very simple and to the point in order to learn the applications of Microsoft Office. Otherwise is a good class. If you can find better than go for it. or else he isn't too bad. good luck.

I'm actually taking his online honors computer class. So far I can say is not an easy class because there is lot of writting involved. The research assignments are interesting and you get to know more about the technology field. Some extra point are out of the subject but they make your brain work more. Professor Jones is very helpful. Recommended

I recently decided to go back to school for a second bachelors degree. This class has made me seriously reconsider it. If you ask a question, you get an obnoxious answer. When an assignment is posted, be prepared to not understand what he is looking for. He posts problems that are no way related to what is going on. Skip this teacher!

I dont understand why there are so many awful reviews about professor Jones. I think he is a wonderful professor. I took his online honors course had no problems. I recieved an A. My only complaint about the course was the expensive textbook.

This guy is the WORST instructor because he doesn't instruct. Some people he will help when asked, others he says, "It's in the book, figure it out!" He rarely explains anything and rarely writes on the board. HE IS HORRIBLE. Do yourself a favor and AVOID HIM. If you want someone to lull you to sleep, he can do it.

I'm taking this course online, and it's a NIGHTMARE. I passed my previous programming course with a good grade, so I'm pretty familiar with the concepts. I do my homework, make the programs work, but apparently they're not enough. He's not clear on instructions and expects the projects to be perfect. AVOID THIS PROFESSOR.

I took the online course. He comes across a bit disorganized as far as giving clear instructions, but seems to be a nice guy. This guy is a bad teacher. He does not teach you anything and expects you to know everything. The assingments in the class is easy except for the tests. He gives you a half a page f notes. Which you have to take yourself durig his lecture, which is absolutely boring!! I thought since this was a computer class it would be a peice of cake,YEAH RIGHT!
