Great professor. Great fun in class. Awesome sense of humour. One thing I do take issue with though is his "hotness" rating. Is this a serious site? Come on! For the record I actually attended his class and his rating of 5 must be generated by people who've never seen him or are blind. Great prof but the guys not a pin up.

Dr Lester, who we funnily referred to as Ahkamd outside of class was a real inspiration. My main problem with him though, as another student commented, was he never returned my phone calls. At all. This particularly irritating as I often needed to discuss research and other projects that were undertaken. For his lack of courtesy on this I'm unhappy

I took him for American Political Thought and my seminar. He's a fun lecturer who engages the class. I didn't particapte as much in the seminar, because he wanted to record us, and I wasn't totally comfortable with the idea. So, I got a lower grade in my seminar than my first course with him. Overall, he knows his subject and is a nice guy.

He is easily my favorite professor. He has a great personality, and makes the entire class laugh throughout the entire ... 3hr lecteur... (I took this class at Uni Mary Wash) A lot of fun and well run. Definatly worth taking.

Lectures were retarded and peppered with lame jokes. Biased and sometimes inaccurate. Grading was lenient, paper was a worthwhile challenge of 12 pages. Got an A, but hated it.

Classes are so interesting that you are actually sad when class is over. He is hilarious when lecturing, but at the same time entertaining. He's a tough grader and there is a 12 page paper due at the end of the term.

Pr. Lester is a great teacher, very willing to explain his thoughts on a matter to help you understand his point of view while still completely open to listening to your point of view and taking that into consideration. What more can you ask for in a prof?

Class was pretty easy as long as you went and took good notes. Only two tests and a paper, so the workload isn't too bad. No need to do the reading since he goes over it in class. Professor is good at what he does and know what he's talking about. Engaging and helpful. I would highly recommend it.

Lester is a dynamic lecturer with an awesome sense of humor to match. He makes the 50-minute class fly by with his easily understandable and often funny lectures on political philosophy, and is an extraordinarily fair grader. Highly recommended! This is an enjoyable class!

Basically Lester is the coolest Lecturer ever, is hilarious, and makes time go by very fast for an hour and 20 minute class. That being said, expect to study an amazing amount for the exams just to do moderately well. I busted my tail and the best I could manage was a B-. Difficult grader.

great prof - interesting, clear, FUNNY. readings not so important as long as you go to class and take copious notes (hes a good lecturer). tests a little hard, but not bad. plus he quotes fifty cent like its his job.
