Gives terrible feedback, she made this class so stressful for no reason. Students left crying once a week because they were so overwhelmed by work that should not have been made so difficult. She was not very approachable I would not recommend

If you are able to, take another professor for this class. Her assignments are confusing and long. Never knowing what to do ends up being very stressful. Also, I do not feel like I took much away from the class at all.

This professor knows a lot about the topic of children and families. She is friendly at times but can be very opinionated. She is pretty sporadic when it comes to explaining assignments. Her syllabus is extremely hard to follow, so you will ask a lot of the same questions "When is this due? What do we have to do for this project?"

As a transfer student it was a bit difficult transitioning and taking this class. Emilie knows a lot, but she doesn't explain things very well. You will find yourself saying, "What do I have to do?" many times throughout the semester. Good luck.

There is a lot of work, it is not hard work but there is a lot of it. She is a very HARD grader and everything that is done in the class is worth very little points. So if you get one point off then you are already down to an 80. She thinks she is the best professor ever and she reminds you of this everyday. She is the only professor so GOOD LUCK!!

She is honestly the most helpful professor I have ever encountered. She knows EVERYTHING. She is the only professor for 333 so you don't have a choice (you want to take her anyway) but try to get her to be your advisor-she's great. I go in and talk to her about EVERYTHING even though she isn't my advisor. SO helpful. lots of work but not difficult

A lot of work for the class but it isn't very hard to do if you do things on time. The quizzes are right from the book so make sure to read. Overall, i would recommend her..seeing she is the only teacher for the class. If possible, have her be your advisor because she knows her stuff!!

great teacher. Lots of work but its worth it in the end. Piece of advice...think about your story ahead of time & pick up sources for you guide she will ask you to do.I recommend her & having her as your advisor is a plus. She's prob the only one that knows what shes talking about when it comes to Education. Responses to emails daily. A+ teacher

This is THE BEST education teacher Cortland has I reccomend taking ALL classes that she teachs. She is EXTREMELY helpful in all areas and is always there to help in anyway possible. In my experience she's the best teacher yet for education department. :)
