I had him for an intro class last year (not sure what it exists as on semesters), which was a basically a free one credit hour A from the engineering department. He seemed like a cool guy, he would just BS about engineering and stopped showing up all together when guest speakers came in at the end.

Very approachable, one of the nicest teachers I've had throughout my college carrier. Quizes and Exams alternating ever week. Teaches material well, and will help you outside of class alot.

Great teacher and very nice and sometimes funny. Only grades in the class were 2 random attendance grades and one homework assignment that was very basic binary stuff. Difficult to not get an A. No final or midterm and no textbook was used. Fall quarter 09-10.

pretty boring since he rambles on and on with his powerpoints. useless lectures. he basically thinks his TA sucks, since he always talks about how incompetent he is with grading and teaching. i think he should give a break; he just reads from a powerpoint for 50 minutes.

Network Analysis 2 is a rough class. I thought Fernadez did a good job of not making it too hard on us. He gives 5 exams plus a final, and 5 quizzes, but these points help out in the end. He is easily approachable and will help you in any way he can. I liked him a lot.
