Comment:

Enrique is one of Bryn Mawr's friendliest professors. He loves to talk about all things Cuba, poetry, social justice issues, and life in general. He is a warm and caring person who pushes you without making life too stressful. There is a lot of reading, and native speakers seem to always do better. He provides a fun and dynamic experience!

Comment:

Best professor I've had this year. He is truly invested in your success and growth. Although he can ramble on at times, his tangents give greater understanding and peak interests related to the topic of discussion. He is not a tough grader but does underline his expectations of you during office hours.

He's involved in the course material and very knowledgable in his field, but doesn't seem to engage the class as much as he could. Don't take a class with him if you have a hard time accepting criticism, though--he's very up-front about your performance. If you write a paper that's sub-par, he WILL let you know exactly how he feels about it.
