You can't walk into one of his classes and expect that he is going to go easy on you. He requires a lot from students, but will help you if you ask him to. Fairly straight-forward on what he expects you to know for his tests and gives you the old tests from the previous year. Great professor overall.

He's a hoot and one of the most interesting people you will ever meet in your life. He's wicked smart though and so sometimes it's hard to "get" him but I took a lab with him that I didn't need just because he taught it. He's a sweetheart too.

Topher is the greatest man alive! He is funny and goofy but brilliant and will spend hours just talking to students about biology advances and stuff. His classes are not easy and students are expected to work, but he is great with answering questions and his lectures are quite interesting.
