Bencloski is a great teacher, and his demonstrations are fantastic as well. Guided notes, one book report, and tons of slideshows from his travels. Dry sense of humor, awkward, lovable guy. I'd take him again in a second. Very good at bringing information down to a level that non-geo students understand and enjoy.

he is a wonderful teacher! class is optional and no textbooks! if you go to the class before the exam dates, he has a review which is very helpful and basically gives you the answers he is looking for on the exam! i would recommend him to anyone!

Had for GEOG 101, 341, 415.The most genuine & knowledgeable professor I have ever known. He treats his students as human beings, and is more than happy to answer every question. His note systems are proven to teach course material, but you must go to class because each lesson builds upon the previous one. Hands on lessons! TAKE ANYTHING HE OFFERS!

One of the best profs ever! He's genuine and caring, plus he has a wealth of knowledge. He incorporates jokes into his lectures, which are cheesy but funny at times! Doesn't require textbook and doesn't get mad when you miss class. Take good notes to help on his take-home exams. Had him for 3 classes and loved him!

The perfect prof: articulate, funny, compassionate, expert in field, and energetic.Learned 3-4 lectures worth of info in EVERY class, yet presentation was always clear. Demonstrations and examples of principles are ingenious. Tests are very fair.Best true teacher I've ever had...a joy to learn from.

One of the last of a dying breed. He cares more about the students than his paycheck. If you fail something (except a test) he will give it back to do again and if you need help with anything you got it. By far the best prof EVER. Highly reccomended!! A++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
