3 of the 4 of my papers went on long videos. For the first 2 classes I enjoyed listening to him speak.. But then he began repeating himself for the rest of the classes and it got quite boring. Sometimes he had a bad attitude. He isn't a bad teacher and grades fairly in my opinion. I wouldn't take him again though.

This professor teaches according to his own opinions only. I learned nothing whatsoever about sociology in his class, although I got a B+. I only learned about his crazy, one-sided, bizarre libertarian views. He was the worst professor I've ever had at UMD.

he sucks so badly. he gave my class a lot of incompletes, including myself even though i handed in every assignment on time. he was always late to class. he didn't show up for the last two wks. of class and told us that we would have to come back during christmas break to see the rest of everyone's presentations since he was out the last 2 wks.

It seemed like he was having a hard time with life in general during the semester. I felt sorry for him at times. Many of my classmates were not sympathetic and very rude. He had to repeat things because students weren't listening. He had some intersting things to say, especially about America. I learned a lot in this class.

probably the worst teacher i've ever had, late to class if he shows up, repeats the same lecture for a month straight, didn't learn anything, useless to buy book, cancelled assignments, made the final, presentation, and journal due the same day, lost students' assignments and made them resubmit, and gave half the class incompletes

He doesnt teach anything and repeats the same lecture over and over. Doesnt follow the book, its all his opinion. He makes you feel like**** by saying that we are all floating through life and you are a waste of space. I definitly dont recommend him. I was actually interested in soc before him.

This guy is a little out there. I can see why certain people can't take it, but he is just telling the truth about things. Gets way off topic a lot. Pushes tests and papers back a lot. Tests are easy though, if you look over the notes.
