Egge is reportedly the best teacher in the math department but I struggled through his class and found him unhelpful when I approached him. I was not a math major and needed him to explain things differently than he had in class and he was unable to do that when I approached him after class. Very willing to try and help but really just confused me more. He is smart and maybe it was just me but not a great explainer or clear teacher even though he tried, which just aggravated the situation more.

If you don't like him your crazy if you do... well then your insane as well because then you like math and that isn't normal. He explains everything really well in class and knows how to explain a problem many different ways. He does give a lot of HW but he is always available for help.
