I don't know what the person below was thinking, Halvorson is an extremely smart man, and has so much helpful life experience that he shares with you. He loves to help you outside of class whenever you want. His class was very interesting even for accounting, he's very clear and knows exactly what he's talking about. Brilliant

Halvorson is really easy if you are going to pay attention and don't mind teaching yourself. He is no where near as smart as the other accounting teachers and doesn't seem to care as much about accounting. I hated his class and like Misch alot better. He grades really easily but doesn't explain very well unless you know this stuff anyway.

I am an accounting major and this is the first accounting class I took. Professor Halvorsen was great and I learned well with his explicit style of teaching. He makes sure u learn and tells you whats on the test's so u know what to study. I ended up with an A- and was kind of mad, but I think it's cuz I got an A- on the final. Otherwise, great teac

Dr Halvorson will change your mind on accounting. hes really clear and wants you to learn. Dont mistake this for thinking its easy. Do you work, try your best. He'll do the same for you. The best professor I have had at Pepperdine, and the most I've ever learned in a class.

He's amazing! He is so understanding and he wants his students to do well. If you bomb a test he will throw it out if he sees improvement. He's so funny and entertaining and you walk out of there knowing your stuff. He is so inspiring and an incredible man. I LOVE HIM! If you can take him, DO IT!
