Comment:

I took Haye for all Corp 1. Corp 2, and Captial Formation, and if you're a finance major either way you're going to take him. He is a tough grader but doable, don't wait until last minute to study, and make sure you know the foundation of everything he teaches at the very least. He can be a bit callous, but he seems to care if you pay attention.

If you are a Finance major take him for Corp I so you can see if you pass this tests, and like the material. Being that he is the only professor offered for both Corp II and Capital Formation, you have no other choice to get through his courses. Test are beyond difficult, average is 40-50 w/o curve. If you are not a finance major, take someone else

Brutal teacher. Very intelligent man but he really does not understand how to come down to a college level. The average grades on the exams are 40-50s. Adds on huge curves just to give people a chance at passing. I really wish Ramapo would give an alternative to taking Dr. Haye with Corp II and Cap Form. He should not be teaching those two classes.

His courses are some of the only ones at Ramapo where I felt like I really learned and was challenged. He can come off a little scary at first, but once you get to know him his classes are pretty funny. You'll have to do the readings before the tests but if you put in the work, you'll be able to pass the class no problem.

Took Professor Haye for Corporate Finance II. Finance majors take him for 301 first! Tests are almost all of your grade. He is extremely knowledgeable and willing to be there after class but you need to do the work and know the material like the back of your hand in order to pass. Work hard, ask questions, and go to class. Not a freebie.

I had Haye for 3 semesters hard to sum up in 350 words. He's a good guy and I learned a lot in his class about study habits, you cannot cram for his tests you need to know the info to get a good grade. Material comes from anything in the textbook to anything he says in class. Overall smart guy, must take if your a finance major. Avoid if you aren't

This was corp finance 1. Very tough class, his tests are very hard. Have to study every little detail. Thought he wandered too much from material, not going in a specific order. Nice guy though and would recommend if you want a challenge or like finance. Really need to pay attention though. 4 tests, with some graded h.w.

Takes some time to get used to his teaching style. Take a lot of notes, he will emphasize key points in his lecture that may not be written on the board. Recommend good attendance and punctuality, he may be more lenient if you are always there. He is also willing to spend extra time with you going over topics so long as you show effort.

i had him for corp 1 and 2. as long as you attend class and do the work he is nice to you. his tests are really hard but dose give nice curves. each test is cummlative but will test you on the smallest little note highly recommended to take if you are a finance major since hes the only prof for capital form.if ur not a finance major don't take him

I received 4.0's in Corp II & II with Dr. Haye. These are classes for finance majors, so if you are a marketing major, I would suggest taking someone else. Dr. Haye's classes are for accounting / finance majors, so if you are an IT major, don't take him an expect an "A."

If you're a finance major take him from finance 1 on. I feel like I would have done better. Tests are ridiculously hard, but curves. Office is always open if you need help. He is hard but if you try and he sees that you'll do alright. Don't go to the bathroom during class or leave for that matter, and always be on time.

Its really not that hard. Its just the same formula over and over again using a chart. Im not very good at math thought it was gonna be hard. EASY. Hes smart and hates stupid questions if you pay attention you will respect and like him. I got a B. I would take him again. Curves helped alot. take him if your not an idiot.

Nice guy. Just don't piss him off by acting stupid, coming late or leaving early. Exams are next to impossible, but he's very reasonable in terms of experiential and HW.
