The late Prof. Eric Lindermayer was my favorite undergrad teacher. I found him challenging and inspiring. I took 3 courses with him: History of Phil., Ethics and Issues even though I only had to take 2. Not everyone can get a good grade as his courses take critical thinking ability. He allowed me to spend a lot of time with him.

I had him for honors philosophy..years back.I thought he was so intense in his lectures. He seemed emotionally invested in his thoughts and teaching. I also thought he had beautiful eyes and was very attractive. He was my first professor crush.

by far the worst professor i have ever had. My class started out with close to 35 40 students and ended up with only 12. We only recived 2 grades on for the mid term and one for the final. the grade for the mid term was given to us on the last day of class. Pick out students to give a hard time.

I was an older student in his Critical Thinking class some years ago. He told the class that he didnt' believe anyone will be passingthe grade. I got a D. Which was real, real, hard to get. I didn't think he needed to belittle the students and threaten them with failure. Didn't like him.

Be careful-this isn't easy. He will help you out but you've got to ask. Don't be a smart ass and you'll be ahead of the game.

The content Prof Lindermayer teaches is deep, and most people cannot handle it because they can't scratch any deeper than the crap on MTV that they watch. Prof Lindermayer is near genius in his ability to seek out the intellectual recesses in students...

The worst class and teacher I ever had. He teaches you about 2 topics the whole semester and expects you to know everything. Spends the whole time yelling at the class and he yells at you if u ask questions.

Comment:
Professor Lindermayer's mythology class is very interesting, but his philosophy class is quite challenging, and is liable to wreck havok upon your attention span unless you have previous philosophy experience. Good professor, overall.
