Great professor! Know his material, gives appropriate assignment so you learn the material very well. The grading was very fair. I would suggest this class to EVERYONE with future Unix interaction.

OK, let's face it: he's a CUNY PHD student and he demands hard work from student. Very clear and patience. Plus, he's one of the best looking in CIS dep. and in good shape (he once ran the NY Marathon) A pleasure to take his class (for a hard-working student)

The guy is *EXTREMELY* loud. If you sit in the front row, your ears will start buzzing. Knows his stuff but is quite a tough grader. Take him for theoretical classes because he is a math major and can explain them quite effectively.

awful teacher, at least for this class. meaningless lectures, ridiculous content. but extremely easy. if ur looking for an easy A take him. if u wanna learn something stay FAR away. i recommend langsam for this course - tough, but worthwhile.
