This class is lecture heavy and requires participation. The professor is very passionate about what he is teaching and is always willing to help during office hours. If you're interested in philosophy, then I would definitely recommend taking one of his classes.

He is a very good professor, office hours helped all the time when needed. Always reach out to him if you are struggling and try to keep up with the readings he assigns. Sometimes it helps to just skim it over and have it handy during class since sometimes they are really long and not enough time to read them.

Palmer is the best professor I have ever had. He is a brilliant man, and very easy to talk to. He is more than happy to discuss papers, life, and anything else with students. He is a great guy, and even offered me his tires when I was having trouble with my own.

Crazy,and unorganized but really knows his stuff. If you can't handle unorganized notes don't take a class with him. Be prepared to do a lot of reading. Expects you to know the readings well for class discussion. So far, I am loving this class!

No use denying it, Palmer knows his stuff. Although notes are sometimes a bit unorganized (because he's constantly philophesizing), his lectures are amazing. He's sure to keep you interested and laughing. Oh yeah, he's relatively easy and understands if you don't hand in work on time. AWESOME!
