Dr. Patterson was cool, he's definitely pretty hot and definitely makes me wish I wouldn't have switched from CSC to CIT. The class was challenging, but I really enjoyed his lectures. He's funny and super intelligent. Seems like he would be a good future resource.

Nice guy, willing to give help if you ask for it, but pretty lazy. He takes forever to give grades back, and I don't think there was a single day he was on time to class. Homework takes a while, but you learn a lot through it.

He doesn't really teach programming. He's very into how the internal computer works and the history of programming(which is interesting). But he tests you on 80% code and the "laws" of coding and maybe 20% of what he teaches. So you have to teach yourself. This class really could've been easy, but he made it way harder.

He's the best; you just have to ask him and be passionate about what you do. If you like videogames and film and 3d art, you're golden because he's going to make sure to help you with that and see you do great things. If you don't care, he won't care either.

Dr. Patterson is nice and helpful if you ask questions. He is very knowledgeable but not the best teacher (confusing and goes through new concepts fast). Class is VERY time consuming. He doesn't give grades back. like ever. so it's hard to know how you're doing in the class.

I should have given my money to my classmates. I will say that Mr. Patterson is VERY knowledgeable and he may even know how to teach. However, as for WANTING to teach, he greatly lacking. He was asked in class what we do if no students to help are around and his reply was "Your smart, you'll figure it out" He sighs/laughs at the thought of helping

Patterson is the man, very laid back. This class is really cool. Avoid it if you don't like learning new programs (Maya) on your own or you don't have much interest in the subject (3D modeling).

Patterson is very casual and easy to get along with but does not teach the program his course is based around. You either have to buddy up with computer savy classmates or find some sort of tutorial in order to complete progects. If you're good at Maya or at figuring out programs then this will be the class you can show up late easily get 3 credits

His classes are unique because the newest technologies merge with film studies, creative writing, and art. Learning the technology is time consuming but well worth it. He is perfectly suited to teach multi-disciplinary digital arts classes. At times, the work can be overwhelming but he is always easy to get along with and willing to help.
