I had a temporary disability during this quarter and struggled with every subject--esp math, but he was very accommodating, always had his office door open, always ready to answer questions, (tends to deviate off topic...a lot), can give practical applications to the stuff you're learning, and is an easy homework grader (but do it anyway!!)

I am not a math person, but he was the first math teacher I have ever had to make math fun. I loved this class and I hate math. He is clear when teaching. Homework is discussed in detail if there is confusion. He wants everyone to have a clear understanding of the concepts. He meets after hours in his office or in town to discuss class material.

eric is not helpful AT ALL! he is too preoccupied with his calc classes. in class he does very little teaching, straying from the topic constantly. the only way you will learn is by reading the textbook and asking questions. doesn't go over homework and amount of time to grade tests is unacceptable (A MONTH later!!) very smart but CAN'T TEACH!!

This class is not your average college class. You are expected to study and comprehend the material provided in the online textbook. The only help provide in class is going over solutions to homework problems. Schulz is a genius and very kind, but I found it difficult to learn in his class.

Eric is the best teacher I have ever had. He is a good human being and cares about his students. His methods are ahead of the times, so other teachers seem clueless after him. He is the future of learning Math. No matter how hard the material, I highly recommend taking it from Eric Schulz if you can.

Clairity and entertainment are often hard to find in combination with eachother. Especially in math. I would definately reccomend Eric as a teacher, even though i don't love mathematica.

Though prone to tangential storytelling, Eric Schulz is an amazing teacher. He is infectiously enthusiastic about his field, and will go to far out of his way to help students (driving 25 miles to recover a deleted take-home test). Of all math teacher I've had, he is by far the best.

Eric loves using computers and his job teaching. He is very enthusiastic and wants us all to learn. His tests are soooooo very hard. Some think they are too hard, but they are just hard. I like the visual help, but I want more deep understanding sometimes.

Mr Schulz is an excellent teacher in a subject that can be difficult for a lot of students. He is so helpful that he actually came to coffee perk with me and a bunch of other students to help us review for our final! His class isn't easy, but he's very fair.

I had Mr. Schulz years ago, and after I finished my degree with other schools, I can honestly say he was the best math teacher I had. He would help any student at any time to make sure they understand. He is a great guy and makes math a lot of fun. He loves his students and it shows.

I'm no math wiz! Eric is helpful and always available. He makes sure that the class has an understanding before he gives a test. I like the on-line gadgets. The visual and hands on aids really help. He goes the extra mile for his students.

His overuse of Mathematica has seriously compromised his teaching. Not collecting homework/grading tests because he is too busy writing his book is also very frustrating. He is a nice guy and helpful, however.
