Eric is seriously a gem. He's super understanding, and willing to help you in anyway he can. He's a great teacher to have your freshman year. He really makes an effort to make you feel welcome. His class changed the way I view art in such a meaningful way. He's seriously such a great person. He really invests in his work and in his students.

Eric is one of the best teachers I have ever had in all my time as a student. He was my favorite teacher my first semester and he is amazing. He is very dad-like and makes your freshman experience better because of it. He is very approachable, personable and open. If you have him, you are privileged. But don't take his sweetness for weakness!

Eric Weiss is on my short list of all-around best human beings I have ever had the fortune of meeting. Eric Weiss is the dad we all deserve. Eris Weiss is god among men. Take his class, take his advice, and take the concepts he introduces you to and run with them. And take him up on office hours, because he's a superb person.

One of the only teachers I have ever had who genuinely cares about his students on a personal level, in an appropriate way. When you're struggling personally or academically he is more than happy to meet with you and work out whatever is going on. He is a wonderful person and teacher. One of the best I've ever had.

Eric is wonderful. He's incredibly nice, super knowledgeable, and completely willing to go toe-to-toe with students about interpretations of the texts. Don't be afraid to get creative with the papers he requires- I wrote pure snark for some of them and he loved it. He's an amazing teacher on the whole.

I had him for Languages of the Stage and he is awesome. Seriously. Take his class. If you get him you are SO lucky! He's funny and awesome and attractive and his section is just great. You read a lot of great plays and he keeps your attention, even at the end of the day. TAKE HIS CLASS!

Eric Weiss is probably the best teacher I have ever had in my academic career (K-12th grade included). He is the sweetest, most genuine, and caring human being as well as being a brilliant and inspiring professor. His class opened my eyes to an entirely new way of looking at art and theatre. I wish I could go back & do it again. I LOVE ERIC WEISS.

Eric is the coolest man ever. He's funny, sensible, and he doesn't just ramble on for 1 hour and 45 minutes. Even though this class is mandatory for all theater majors, I would take it even if it was just an elective. Not only has it opened my mind to be more accepting of theater in general, but his class is just so much fun. ERIC IS THE BEST! <3

I'm in love with this man. Besides my own dad, he is probably the nicest guy on Earth. He has a great sense of humor and he knows so much about what he's teaching. It's impossible to walk out of his classroom without having learned so many new things you can use in your life (I meant life, not just theatre or the arts). AMAZING man. TAKE HIS CLASS!

Eric is one of my favorite professors. He genuinely cares about the well-bring of his students, and wants them to enjoy and be engaged in what they're learning, as well as learning a lot of material.
