At first this class was overwhelming. Some of the readings in the book were a little long & they weren't gauged correctly. Sometimes we didn't have enough time to read a longer story, but more time for a shorter story. Exams aren't too bad- just make sure you study. Available during office hours

overall a great guy and a good professor. a lot of people might say that he moves too quickly and doesn't explain the material well enough, but those are people who are looking for a handout. Super easy to talk to, and you can tell that he's brilliant.

I thought he was a pretty good teacher. Syllabus was very detailed so you knew exactly what was coming. The class was not very difficult. I wouldn't reccommend him to a beginner but he's not too bad if you already know some spanish.

If possible, avoid this guy. Nice guy. Easy A. Hard to stay awake, even at 12:30. Try to stay awake (& by this I mean participate even if you don't want to), & you'll be gravy. If I remember correctly, tests weren't cumulative, but just do the work & it shouldn't be difficult to get a good grade
