Comment:

I loved Prof. DeNigris! His passion for VFX is contagious. Every class we learn a new method and then there are some assignments here and there but honestly they were more difficult than the stuff done in class but still possible. If you want to learn after effects methods you will use later in life, take this class.

Comment:

Paul DeNigris is the reason I am in film. I was a bit aimless as a game art and animation student until i took DV101 on a whim. After that class I immediately changed my major and never looked back. Paul showed me that your career can be your passion and that film isn't something you do, it is a way of life. Paul is't a teacher, he is a mentor.

He owns what he does. Taking his class is a blessing. Probably the most experienced and well versed professor I ever had the fortune to work with. Be prepared for some toughness, because that's what film making demands. He is always going to be there for you and will work tirelessly if you show the promise and loyalty. In all a great man.

Class was very much hands on, courses were focus to be applied in real life situation and not just classroom settings. What you get from the courses are real and will train you to be an industry professional. As a student you get out of it what you put into it.

Paul is astonishingly smart and talented as a filmmaker. He's he real deal in terms of technical know how, as well. His skills are legit and he's worked on about every phase of production. That being said, he can blow a gasket about small questions, especially if he's having a bad day, which makes you hesitant to ask him questions in general.

Paul Denigris is an amazing professor, the best I've ever had. I ended up switching my major because of the DVA101 course. The program was very hands on and provided many opportunities to test your skill outside of class, and to find out what unique skills you have. I found mine and he helped me become great at it.

Paul is the only reason I stayed at UAT. In all honesty this college is not what I expected. But Paul and the DV department are really the only worth while thing at UAT. I entered as an animation student...took DVA101 and it changed my entire future. A very clear and expert instructor. You will be learning from a true expert in film.

Paul seems to care about his movie than what his student's are doing in class. I don't know if it's a part of his NY attitude which sometimes gets annoying, fast. He needs a new fresh attitude. He doesn't enjoy to like teaching or his position at UAT.
