Awesome professor. Tough course, but he makes it possible to do well if you put in the effort. If you are willing to put in the effort and want to learn the material, this is the professor for you. If neuropsych becomes your passion, get involved in his research -- that will help you get into grad school.

I disagree with the previous student. Dr. Everhart should not be penalized for teaching the hardest course for psyc majors. In his office hours he was always willing to help. Reading text and cumulative exam are clear on his syllabus. He drops your lowest exam score and gives ex cr! 20/55 students earned A's or B's so it is definitely possible!

Just because he's a nice guy doesn't mean he's a good teacher. The class is so hard and it doesn't help that he puts so many chapters into one test. He has study guides, but they're so arbitrary and cover way too many topics. And he also expects you to read stuff that we didn't go over in class. And the final is cumulative. Thanks for my first C.

Hardest class I have ever taken- not because of the professor, but because of the material. Psyc majors and minors HAVE to take this or 3310 so if you take 3311 I would def. take Dr. E versus the others that teach it!! He is very nice, gives study guides, and cares about his students! You can do lots of extra credit too!

Neuropsych is definitely a hard material to learn, but he makes easier for you to get through it. Do the study guides, that definitely helps. The tests a mixture of multiple-choice, short answer and fill-in-the-blank. The class itself is interesting and his stories are amuzing.

Probably not the class to take for a summer session. He only gave one study guide to the end and his reviews were not detailed. This class required you to think like a psychologist. It was not easy but he is a good teacher and really clarifies things. Note that his final is a cumulative exam.

One of the best profs i've ever had. And funny too! Hard material, but makes it SO interesting and easy to understand. Will go really slow for the ones who don't get it. I was obsessed with neuropsyc by the time I finished the course. Gives study guides so you know exactly what's on the test & extra credit. He might just be the nicest guy ever.

This is probably the hardest undergrad PSYC class at ECU. Everhart teaches it well though. Tests are extremely hard, but he covers everything on them. The review sheets are a plus as well. Take it with Everhart. Do NOT take it online!

We love Dr. Everhart. He is the best teacher at ECU. We think he's hot, especially in that white lab coat and skinny tie.

I studied my butt off and still failed the tests! I went to every class also so I was no slacker.. I know this is a hard course but I recommend taking someone else unless you have alot of time to devote solely to this class! His tests were really hard!
