Lots of fun... fairly easy exams, but heavy reading. Fortunately, you don't *really* need to do it, as he e-mails to everyone their lecture notes. Easy to get a hold of, responds quickly. Makes a dull course interesting, what else could I say?

Also took 200 with erling. The guy is wicked. You learn alot hes got lots of experience especially in 211, the class is relaxed, flexible with assingments, easy on marking, open discussion when possible.. Best teacher at cap hands down.

WOW! Erling's exams are really easy. Just learn what terms mean, know the main concepts, and you'll do great. He is SO interesting, and his classes are great. He's laid-back and a slack prof, and you STILL learn a lot.

This guy is a mix between Santa and a rastafarian. He's done everything! A really cool guy to be learning from. And, shockingly enough, his class doesn't make me zonk out 5 minutes in....he ACTUALLY manages, somehow, to make sociology interesting.
