Dr. Kramer is a wonderful educator. He really knows his stuff and every class period is always different with many different jokes and stories that he tells like he was just there. I highly suggest taking one of his classes, to try and get the full experience.

Comment:

For Enjoyment if Music you have online homework and you only get 3 tries on listening and you have no clue what answers you get wrong, not beneficial. Kramer is nice but sometimes when you meet with him outside of class he isnt. Tests are VERY hard, especially if you dont enjoy music. You barely take notes so you have to teach yourself.

I had heard about this Study Abroad tour through the grapevine for two years and how amazing it was. The tour was fantastic and my best college experience so far! Dr. Kramer was great and led us through seven countries and a dozen cities. We saw where Guido, Monteverdi, Vivaldi, and many more lived. The online work afterwards was fun and easy.

This is my favorite professor in the music department. He makes difficult subjects easy to understand. Although there's quite a bit of homework, it all helps in the end. He is also quite funny and is very pleasant. I'm looking forward to taking more classes with him next semester.

This course covers five centuries of music thru a lot of reading and listening in a short amount of time, yet somehow this professor keeps his lectures amazing and fast-moving. I didn't really like classical music at all, but now I have a much deeper appreciation. This teacher had an amazing amount of knowledge! He fair, hard, yet really funny.

The material we went over sucked, but he did a good job explaining it for the most part. He gets off topic in lectures and sometimes talks about useless information. We had homework EVERYDAY. Sometimes, can be in a bad mood. MANDATORY ATTENDANCE. Takes off 2% off your final grade for missing one class period.

Kramer is an awesome piano teacher!! I've learned so much from him. He really pushes you to do well. I love all of the little tricks he teaches me to play better. He's an amazing pianist and knows what he's talking about.
