Comment:

Went to about 4 classes total and still got a B (the ones I did go to, I did work for other classes). Goes through a lot of material and is pretty boring. The actual course work was easy and if you can write a decent essay you'll do well. Only took the class because I needed it for my degree, easy pass.

easily one of the worst professors I've have during my degree!! won't engage with the class once during most lectures. talks to herself throughout the class. even though her class is also about contemporary artists/piecesit's usually art from over 20 years ago. please save your money and do not take a class with this prof!

Ernestine is a sweet woman and really knows her stuff, but seems to get wrapped up in her own thoughts when explaining it. Her lectures made me sleepy and were hard to follow. She's also not too good with technology, ironically. I rarely went to class. The assignments were fairly unrelated to the class material though, so I did well anyway.

I loved professor Daubner's class not only because her online schedule and criteria were accessible and clear, the subject of this class is extremely interesting and she makes it easy to understand and fun to learn with an animated powerpoint, some great lectures and often times a ted talk or any form of documentary video. Take her class guys!

Ernestine did not make a great first impression on me. She isn't an animated lecturer, she stutters and comes across as a bit awkward. Do not let these discourage you from taking her class. Ernestine is extremely knowledgable and passionate, the issues she covers are fascinating and her lectures are well-organized. Her class became my favourite!

This was one of the most boring classes I've ever taken. Daubner was so boring I often fantasized about throwing something at her as she mumbled on even after class had ended. Constantly mumbling, tripping over her words and reading directly off of her paper. She teaches other classes I would love to take, but I can't sit through that again

This is the hardest class I've ever taken. There are a crazy amount of readings every week and her lectures do not help in allowing you to understand them any better - that is of course unless you enjoy monotony and stuttering for two and a half hours. Regretting this class immensely.

Miss Daubner is a pretty boring lecture giver, but how knowledgeable and what a wonderful intellect! She is also a really sweet and aprochable person. I do recommand her classes if you have interest in her subjects, because she is very passionnate about them.

The comments on here are unfortunately true...the lectures can be a bit awkward. However, Daubs speaks from the mind of a genius, and if it may seem that every single theory known to humans can be summed up in one of her sentences...it is because it is probably actually happening. One MUST take a Daubner class before graduating Concordia.

This is the 3rd class I have her as a professor... I recommend you attend all classes, even though her lectures are quite monotone and boring she explains the material pretty well and its helpful for the midterm and final. However, I found her to not be helpful at all when I asked for advice on my paper and on finding documents that she had posted

She's super smart and covers very interesting material (awesome readings!). However, she does have a problem when articulating her lectures. I feel she can see the big picture, a person that's so well read she needs to interconnect every concept out there, but fails to do it cohesively. Don't miss any classes, otherwise you might get quite behind!

This teacher is very nice, approachable. Some people might find her a bit monotone during her lectures, but overall I can say that I learned a lot(she says um...a lot)The grades consist of 10% participation(online forum) + either 2 online assignments(20% each) or one longer assignment(40%), + the exam. MAKE SURE YOU SHOW UP!!
