I hated this class. He's super boring.. his tests are from the book, not his notes. He uses the notes he's used for the past 30/40 years. He's super old... no emotions really. Just monotone. Has outdated information. He grades based on attendance so yes you do have to show up. His tests are hard because you have to teach yourself. Not recommended.

Bublitz is awesome, he's very helpful and very knowledgeable. I found that I learned A LOT from his class. I never opened the book and I still got an A. Just go to class and listen to what he has to say and you'll do fine.

I cannot believe this guy is still teaching! I had him back in 1996! He was ancient then. If you like reading notes on an overhead....this guys for you. According to the posts....he is still teaching the same way he did 10 years ago!

Easy prof, and funny guy. I don't think he knows what a computer is though. All notes are from overheads, so class can get boring. Tests are straight from the notes - not easy, not hard. The material is quite outdated, but some of it is still relevant. Don't buy the book - not necessary!

He may be a nice guy but as a teacher he is somewhat lacking. The text and overheads are waaay outdated. The book even mentions what "robots in the future" will be like. Not a hard class...but very boring, archaic, and irrelevant.

he wears the same shirt everyday, and has two sweaters...weird. but he explains the notes really well and gives good examples...it's just boring listening to his tone and copying notes. he talks a lot about sex. gets up in your face a lot, not trying to be rude, just gets in your face..i dunno.

Ack! All of his studies are from the '70s, or maybe the early '80s at the most recent. All in all, not very informative. Plus, he has a tendency to stand very close to, stare at, and talk directly to one student from time to time when he's speaking.
