Prof. Coombes is a good Professor she knows what shes doing and instructions for papers are very clear! I passed all my essays, but she is a tough grader. Quizzes are kind of hard but overall I would take take her again!

Professor Coombes was an amazing professor, she taught everything you needed to know but graded a little hard on the papers. HOWEVER, the final is optional, she gives lots of extra credit opportunities, and has a whole unit for just replacing grades that aren't so good. Overall, it was a good semester.

If you enjoy lectures and art projects Prof. Coombes is for you. She definitely knows what she is talking about regarding literature, but her teaching style wasn't compatible with my learning style. I have a preference for hands on techniques, while she tends to lecture for the majority of the class time. Do the work and you'll pass with an easy A.

Mrs. Coombes was an AMAZING professor. She cares about her job and wants to see her students succeed. At first you may feel like you wont pass her class because of what she expects on essays. However she really gives great feedback and will not leave you sinking. She really helped me become a better writer. Take her class serious & you will pass.

She is truly amazing! Take her class, all these negative reviews are without substance. She gives clear instructions and does not want you to miss out on the learning experience. She is a great mentor. I admire her. First class I took since leaving college years ago.

Extremely analytical when it comes to grammar on assignments. Really tough grader. Highly unorganized. Gave questions on exams that were not part of study material. She does not give clear instructions on how she wants assignments turned in. I don't recommend this professor at all!

Took her online and she was so unorganized had us email her every single assignment and would continue to say "you should know to do this it was in your syllabus". She was no help on the many essays we had to write and was an extremely tough grader even though on her feedback she couldn't even use correct grammar. This class ruined my 4.0 gpa.

Shes an average professor. She tends to get off topic a lot and ends up ranting about irrelevant issues that we arent even studying. Shes a very tough grader especially when it comes to grammar. If youre a good writer/reader then I recommend but you really have to work for your grade.

Mrs. Coombes is a very nice person. She is very fun. She makes class entertaining. I definitely enjoyed taking this class with her, plus we watched two movies!!! One has a different assignment, to create a Tinder for one of the characters!

I think Prof. Coombes was so good. Too many of my classmates were rude to her and others. They disrespected her. But she still taught us. I learned alot from her. I think she's good and kind. Alot of us did. Only those rude and disrespectful ones don't cause they didn't want to learn anything. They just wanted her to give them a grade.
