I had Dr, Skirboll for class about 8 times. She is an amazing professor and woman. Yes, you have to work hard, and she expects you to be in class, but in my opinion, her classes were worth it.

i loved her class and she enjoyed having me in there because i initiated discussions and unlike most people i accept the viewpoints of others beliefs and was willing to challenge everyone, including her, about their faith. if you cant accept your faith being challenged, go home and grow up. shes a great professor. and very intelligent.

Perhaps some of you are rating the wrong professor... I don't see what being Christian has to do with her class. She presents material in a fairly unbiased fashion but challenges others set in stone beliefs by pointing out legitimate inconsistencies. She's done alot in her field and is a terrific teacher.

Very dry sense of humor, most do not get it and feel she has a bit of attitude. She's amazing to talk with as she's traveled extensively and has worked on unbelieveable projects. I was a bit intimidated by her at first but, after talking with her she quickly became one of my favorites.

she will make you feel stupid if you verbalize your views and they are not what hers are. very dry. needs to get a new hair style...that thing had me more puzzled then the class did. easy grade. some extra credit. just not a very friendly feeling person. she thinks she is better than the student.
