Ended up dropping his class. Too much work for a GenEd, and very confusing with his grading. Wasn't doing poorly in the class, just couldn't understand anything so I dropped it.

Paquin's class is in depth and purposeful. The pieces he chooses to teach actually do work for the students and in turn, the students generally produce good work. Take him seriously and he'll take you seriously. One of the best classes and the best professors I have ever had. A good man.

Ethan Paquin is one of the most dedicated professors at Plymouth. His passion for the arts rubs off on the students very quickly. He's very funny and keeps the class entertained. He'll be glad to have a conversation with you and treat you as and equal, not just another student. If you ever get the opportunity to take a class with him. Do it!

Great teacher. English was never my strong subject, but I really enjoyed his class. I don't like to read but he made the class interesting by making you think critically and that is what drove you to read, to form your opinion after thinking critically. Real eye opener. Overall great experience for a non-English person, makes you think out of box

I did not like him that much. But the class was mad easy. I didnt even read the books and I got an A in the class. You have to write well, and he helps you learn to write better. But he can get in bad moods, and he is very odd. Can be rude and condescending. His class killed me, i skipped a lot because of his personality.

Paquin is what I consider to be the perfect kind of teacher: he pushes you to do well and improve your writing, but getting an A in his class is not impossible. The course really makes you think about relevent issues, which sets it apart from a lot of other required courses. I enjoyed it a lot and think he is a great guy.

Paquin was a pretty cool guy. I know that sometimes he acted a bit strange (like running into walls and touching hot pipes)But overall His class was kinda of difficult, but he layed out everything he expected in terms of writing very clearly. If you're serious about becomming a better writer, than you should definatly take him

?? ...in WRT200 he spells out EXACTLY how he wants each essay written...it doesn't get much clearer than that...plus the subject matter gives you a lot to think about.

He cannot comprehend that people don't understand things exactly the way he does. It would have been helpful if he realized we are here to learn, therefore we probably don't know as much as him.
