I would recommend to not take her for math 120. She is very unfair and you really can't understand what she teaches. She is also very rude and wants you to understand things right away.

Ms. Bersano gets a bad rap because she has a heavy accent. She is a sweet lady that cares about her students. You must listen attentively and ask as many questions as needed. She welcomes participation and questions. I was frustrated at times but i used the math tutors and got through with an A. She gives partial points for test problems attempted

She is probably my favorite math teacher by far out of all of my math teachers I've had in the past. I absolutely love how she teaches and I've learned quite a bit from taking her class!

Never IN YOUR LIFE TAKE A CLASS FROM IS TEACHER!! You can hardly make out what she is saying, doesn't collect homework, rude, gets annoyed if you don't get something right away, oh and she always accuses people of cheating and will watch you very closely during test! save yourself time and money and get you a different teacher!!!

Her instructions are ambiguous at best. The book she requires for the class isnt sold at the CCC book store. Homework is due weekly. No make up work. Tests are done at home. Huge language barrier. Youre forced to print out every homework assignment, do the work, scan it and email it back to her; which is very diffcult for those who have a job.

she taught according to the book but did not clarify every step. she has a thick accent which makes it hard for someone to understand what she is saying. i approached her many times and she send me to tutoring instead of helping me out. i passed her class but still i would not recommend this teacher.

I got a perfect 100% in the homework,mid term and final exam in her class but learnt nothing from her. I had to self teach myself wasting hours looking at videos on youtube.She's bad.Do yourself a favor and take some other teachers class. I survived because I'm smart in math but for weaker students her class will be nothing but a disaster.

Do not take a class with this teacher. She does not prepare her lectures, instead she opens the textbook up and reads directly from the text and uses the exact examples without explaining what the process really is. She is condescending if you attempt to ask a question. Have to teach yourself the material, might as well take online. Avoid her.

Sad to say but this class for the average math student would be an auto fail. We had test on things never taught during the course and even though my submitted answers matched her answer sheet i never received 100% instead i was told write neater.Calling her during her office hrs would be like talking to my 9 month old lots of "what did you say"

the issue is not the teacher, it is the student. I took her for trig and calculus and was a TA for for 3 semesters. If you are a hardworking and diligent student, she will give you every opportunity to get through the course however you must DO THE WORK AND LEARN THE MATERIAL! If you just want to screw around, she has no time for you.

biggest mistake of my life... she was very closed minded about everything! she never explained ANYTHING she would say "same concept just more work" on every chapter, she thinks everyone cheats so shes on you like a hawk and when you ask her questions she IGNORES you, maybe im wrong but it seems like she sets you up for failure..
