If you're in his class/ if you've had him before, you know you have someone you can go to for resources. He has helped me even better than Dr. Kurtz (the advisor). Great asset to the college and students.

Comment:

I took the 151 class online and every week we have a bunch of readings and lecture videos to watch varying from 20 minutes to an hour and a half. He gave at least three quizzes a week and if we do poor or miss a test or quiz the grade stays as it is or you get locked out of that test/quiz. Extremely hard class and would not take again.

The amount of work that goes into his class in one week was the amount of work I put in every other class for two months. He assigns so much homework that it makes you a tad bit insane. Where I would have 3-4- assignments a week per class for my other classes, I would have 10-12 a week with just his class.

His lectures are interesting that being said you have to take really good notes .. I'd suggest doing the class in person because there'd be more of a chance to compare notes with other class mates. I'd also suggest that if you are online you do NOT GET BEHIND ON LECTURES! It's hard to catch up once you get behind. Overall it was a great course.

I respect him as a person but he is probably the worst professor I have had. He is very contradicting with his expectations on papers. His grading is ridiculous. It must be perfect or else your entire paper will be marked up with his wording style, changing everything you wrote. I was looking forward to this class, but regret taking it with him.

If he taught every class at LCCC that I needed to get my degree I would drop out and be homeless. After you take his class you will feel like a complete idiot because anything you say or do is garbage in his eyes. Even tho you are undergrad he expect everything to be done at a grad level, otherwise you are stupid. Id rather jump off a bridge.

Had him for the csu partnership history of psych class. Hardest thing about his class is his grading, you have no idea how he comes up with his scores. Lectures were interesting. One group project/ presentation about past experiments pretty simple. Not helpful with questions, he will tell you to just look at your notes instead of explaining.

I took Dr Gonzales for an online class. He does not respond to emails or interact with the class. Expect no feedback. The reading and quizzes (based on research studies) barely tie in with the lecture content. Take good notes while watching the lectures (if you can get Silverlight to work) because the tests are based on that.

He is not bad, however he makes you download "Silver light" (I think that's the name for it) just to watch his lectures, which I think is ridiculous. Usually, professors makes you watch lectures hassle free without downloading anything just for a 8 week class. Making you panic for the exams knowing it's pointless for even trying to download it.

I've never had a more rude teacher in my life. You ask for help and he has a straight up attitude. It's sad that a professor like him can get away with this without any consequences. Do not take him, I definitely regret it.

His personality is great. He really loves to talk and engage in class. But, his power points are only to help guide him on what to cover.. so make sure you write down what he is speaking rather than bullet points on the power points. Read the book. Tests are quite rough with essays.. Overall a C. I might take him again..

Professor Gonzalez was awesome! I took his Intro to Psych course online. His lectures were engaging and interesting and felt like you were in class. His expectations were clear and his assignments manageable. I really enjoyed being able to do the simulations talked about in lessons on the PsykTrek CD. I would love to take many of his courses!

Awesome teacher! Makes lectures interesting, but he also makes you work for the grade. The tests are tough but if you study you will do fine! He doesn't trick you. My favorite professor.

This class was super tough especially if you aren't interested in psychology. I thought it would be quite easy due to the fact i took psychology in high school but it was way different we didn't learn anything that i learned in high school. He was a terrible teacher as well. He would barely explain stuff and it would be so complex on the tests.
